Charter 5m ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

• Email address when you sign in (via Apple Sign-In or email/password)
• Display name (optional, set during sign-up)
• A user identifier (UUID) to link your data across devices
• Learning progress data (lessons completed, flashcard reviews, mini-test attempts, streaks, glossary favourites)
• Subscription status via RevenueCat
• Crash reports (technical information about app failures, with your user identifier and display name attached for support; email is never sent)

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

• Provide personalized learning experiences and spaced repetition scheduling
• Sync your progress across devices
• Diagnose and fix crashes that affect your experience
• Manage your subscription

3. Data Storage

Your account, learning data, and per-user content (favourites, reminders) are stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security so that only you can access your own records.

4. Third-Party Services

Charter 5m sends limited data to a small number of trusted services that are essential to the app:

• Supabase — authentication and storage of your learning data
• Apple Sign-In — authentication option
• RevenueCat — receipt validation and subscription state management
• Sentry — anonymous-by-default crash reporting; we attach your user identifier (UUID) and optional display name to crash events for debugging support, but never your email or device IP

We do not use advertising networks, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking. No data is sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time.

To delete your account: open Charter 5m → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, learning progress, favourites, reminders, and any subscription association from our servers. The action cannot be undone.

6. Children's Privacy

Charter 5m is designed for adult learners preparing for professional exams. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
